INFORMATION SECURITY: Bridging The Divide has a layered security in our systems and only designated employees have access to hard copies of your personal information. All on-line transactions are done via Paypal on a secure server. This means that information entered on the transaction page is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) before transmission. Donation pages are verified by Verisign.
BRIDGING THE DIVIDE MAY SHARE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION: Personal information will be shared internally at Bridging The Divide to complete your donations, to contact you about our on-going work, discuss employment opportunities and ways that you can further support our efforts to help civil societies building peace. Your personal information will also be used to provide you access to the various sections of our website that have been personalized for your needs. Bridging The Divide may share, rent or exchange donor names and postal address with third parties. Except in the limited circumstances outlined below, Bridging The Divide will never intentionally share your e-mail addresses, phone numbers or financial information.
EXCEPTIONS: Bridging The Divide reserves the right to share your personal information in certain situations:
Credit Card Transactions, Electronic Fund Transfers, Payments by Check or Money Order and On-line Transactions. If you choose to make an application for employment, make a donation on-line, by phone, through the mail or by other means, we will share your personal information with our processing service providers.
